In addition to great food, fun, drink, and good people – we’ll be celebrating the annual ‘Ocean of Possibilities’ Award winners. This honor is dedicated to those who give back to the community centered around the ocean and beach culture.
It is our honor to announce the very well deserving 2017 recipients:
- Beau Hodge
is a local business owner and well known WSL and ISA surf competition announcer. Beau has dedicated years of service to AccesSurf and has been a strong voice and advocate for beach accessibility.
Mike Cootsis an accomplished photographer and social media sensation who became a shark advocate after losing his leg to a shark in his teens. Mike is an ambassador for adaptive surfing around the world.
