Since 2006, AccesSurf has provided free programs for people with disabilities to access the beach, ocean and adaptive water sports. Our monthly community events focus on inclusion, awareness and well-being. Programs include surfing, canoe paddling and swimming as well as an annual international adaptive surf competition. We serve anyone with any disability of any race, age, gender or financial background. Our programs have continued on a growth trajectory, supporting our local community with 1726 participant and 2900 volunteer experiences in 2023 alone.

Our mission is to provide life-changing accessible water programs for people with disabilities.

Our vision is to lead a global movement of adaptive water sports, creating ‘An Ocean of Possibilities’, where inclusion and accessibility are prioritized in every community.

AccesSurf Hawaii is proud to partner with the Department of Defense in support of transitioning service members and their families. We have recently launched our Skillbridge program and are excited to continue to provide opportunities for separating/retiring service members to come learn non-profit operations and adaptive sports facilitation.
