Meet Asia! She has been with us for many years and we are so stoked to see more of her in the last year! If you think her photos are great, her bubbly and kind personality is such a treat. We were so lucky to have her for all of the Hawai’i Adaptive Surfing Championships too! We are more than lucky to have her as a part of our ‘ohana and we are excited to see what collaborations hold for us in the future.

Tell us a little about yourself.
Asia Brynne. I’m from Oahu and I enjoy spending as much time in the water as possible. :p

How and when did you hear about Accessurf?
I first heard about Accessurf through the coconut wireless. Kiana Poki told me to come back in 2016 since she and Shaina volunteered and I’m so glad I did. However, I didn’t start volunteering regularly until more recently.
What does AccesSurf mean to you?
AccesSurf is such an incredible organization. I’ve always felt so blessed just by being a part and spending time with all of the wonderful people that come through, as well as those who volunteer. More recently, the AccesSurf ohana gave me something priceless when my nephew joined us as a participant and was able to surf for the first time.
What is your favorite AccesSurf memory?
I have so many memories as a volunteer that make me smile and keep bringing me back that it’s hard to pinpoint a single one. But being on the receiving end of the program and seeing my nephew’s face light up from his surf was definitely a highlight for me.
Anything you want to say or share with our AccesSurf ‘ohana?
Mahalo nui loa to all of you that continue to bless others by being a part of AccesSurf. It always makes my day seeing all of your smiles and sharing a few laughs.
