We are so fortunate to have volunteers like Stephanie and Eddie!
This power couple joined our ‘ohana in full force with the biggest smiles on their faces! You can find them on the Transfer team at our Day at the Beach programs, one of the most physically demanding volunteer opportunities we offer. No matter how hard, you can see them smiling and getting to know each participant they take into the water as well as volunteers, new and old. We are so fortunate to now have Stephanie on our Board of Directors!
Here is more from Stephanie and Eddie:
This is Stephanie and Eddie Nadolny.  We were born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area.  We met at age 22 while working at a summer camp for children with disabilities.  After we married, we moved to beautiful Cape Cod where we raised our family for the past 24 years.  We both worked for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital where Stephanie was a hospital administrator and Eddie was a physical therapy assistant.  Stephanie loves reading, knitting, photography and riding her Peloton.  Eddie loves bird watching, fishing, running, cycling and boxing. We were both involved in adaptive sports through Spaulding Rehab and knew of AccesSurf before arriving in Hawaii.  We knew that participating with AccesSurf would be a great way to get involved in the community and meet some terrific people.  AccesSurf gives us an opportunity to be part of an amazing family of people who are dedicated to living full and complete lives on the beautiful beaches of Oahu.  We have just started getting to the know the team and participants of AccesSurf, but we can’t wait to create great experiences and memories.  We are grateful that you have received us with open arms and helped us to feel accepted into your community.
Sincerely,
Stephanie and Eddie
