Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Jason. I’m from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and currently living in Ewa Beach.  My family and I have lived here in Hawai’i for 10 years. I enjoy doing anything adventurous, and spend most of my free time in or around the ocean. I also love photography, in and out of the water.
How and did you hear about Accessurf.
I first heard about AccesSurf last year. I just happened to be at White Plains on an AccesSurf DATB and was curious what it was. After finding out, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. It took me a few months before I actually signed up to volunteer, but it never left my mind. I started coming out and volunteering January of this year.
What does AccesSurf mean to you?
AccesSurf is an amazing community full of support, inclusion, opportunities and love. I love seeing everyone come together to make AccesSurf as special as it is!
What is your favorite AccesSurf memory?
I don’t think I have one memory that stands out more than another, but anytime I see the happiness or pride on the faces of the participants, families, staff, volunteers, etc..is a great memory for me.
Anything you want to say or share with our AccesSurf ‘ohana?

I’ve loved getting to meet and interact with everyone who’s a part of this family over the past 8 months. I look forward to continuing working with AccesSurf and stacking up more favorite memories.

Thank you for the Vol of the Month! AccesSurf has given me more than what I could possibly give in return. I’m genuinely excited when I wake up on any DATB days and this cover photo is an example of why, along with many other moments photographed or not. Watching the volunteers and participants truly enjoying the opportunity made possible by AccesSurf is amazing and heart filling to witness. I’ve met some awesome people, including those reading this, and can’t thank ya’ll enough for allowing me into this family. I appreciate the recognition, but honestly the recognition belongs to you all every month!
