- Little intro: Lizzy and I are both from Minnesota (and we’re cousins)! We love spending time outside with our friends and family, going surfing, doing yoga, and cooking good food!
- How we started with AccesSurf: This September DATB will make 2 years since we started with AccesSurf! Lizzy and I were looking to start volunteering more and found AccesSurf, the perfect combination for our love of surfing/swimming and passion of helping people of all abilities experience the ocean. After our first DATB, we were hooked, little did we know how important AccesSurf would be in our lives.
- What AccesSurf means to us: Community, the amazing people that participate and volunteer have become close friends who all share the same love for the ocean and helping others. Everyone at AccesSurf has incredible energy that makes every event so special.
- Favorite AccesSurf memory: 2025 HASC, this was our first HASC that we volunteered at and it was a blast. Meeting people from across the world and embracing the chaos that is a surf competition was truly a highlight for us.
- Extra: We are so grateful for the opportunities AccesSurf has given us and we are so honored to be Volunteers of the Month.
