It’s been a time in coming for us to highlight long time AccesSurf Aaron Meyers. He has been part the AccesSurf  ‘ohana almost since the very beginning. His smile makes our DATB shine!

Let’s meet Aaron and his Mom Georgette….

Aaron Meyer found out about AccesSurf while a patient at Shriners Hospital where founder, Mark Marble, was part of.  From a young age, he has enjoyed being in the water whether in a swimming pool or in the ocean.  For the past 12 years, AccesSurf provides him the opportunity to surf, swim and participate in other activities under safe supervision, that he would not be able to do otherwise.  He enjoys interacting with the many volunteers who make his time at AccesSurf fun.  Buoyancy and movement in water allow his body freedom beyond the limits of his disability. Day at the Beach, Swim Clinic, Kualoa Beach Park and fundraisers are all his favorite activities and enrich his life.
