We have been so fortunate to have Amanda as a part of our ‘ohana. She works tirelessly on our merch and any office job we need. We will miss you Amanda and wish you the best! Can’t wait to see you next year 😉

How did you first hear about AccesSurf?

I stumbled upon AccesSurf in the best way. My husband (Justin) and I were doing a beach clean-up in Ewa, which happened to coincide with a DATB. After our clean-up, I sat on the beach and was just taken aback by the beauty and joy that is AccesSurf. I was in tears at the emotions that were on the faces of the participants. I instantly fell in love with AccesSurf.

What does AccesSurf mean to you?

AccesSurf has introduced me to so many people and so many opportunities that I never imagined. I love everything about it.

What is your favorite AccesSurf memory?

Other than volunteering for HASC, my inital introduction to AccesSurf is my favorite. I remember seeing a girl, who couldn’t walk, being held up to stand on a surfboard. The look of absolute elation on her face will be with me for the rest of my life.
