Please tell us a little about yourself with a simple intro: name, where you’re from, interests, what you like to do…“Aloha, I’m Joshua McDade! I’m based in Kaneohe, and my life pretty much revolves around the ocean. I’m a professional photographer and videographer—often shooting from the water with my water housing or flying a drone overhead—and I also work as a surf instructor and coach. When I’m not behind the lens or teaching, you can usually find me surfing, sailing, or snorkeling.”
When will you be available to come to a Day at the Beach event to be highlighted as our awesome AccesSurf Star Volunteer-of-the-Month?I’m usually at all the events. Depends on what works for you guys.
How did you first hear about AccesSurf? When did you start?I believe my first shoot was December of 2022.
What does AccesSurf mean to you?It restores my faith in humanity through ocean and personal connections.
What is your favorite AccesSurf memory? When we had Carter out with the skeleton. Watching Cara and Zoe surf together that day was pretty darn fun. Plus the waves that day were kinda incredible.
Is there anything else you would like to say or share with our AccesSurf ‘Ohana?I’m shy until I get to know people. Once I do, you can’t shut me up.
