My name is Nevaeh Green and I just turned 8 years old last month. I was born at Kapiolani Medical Center and live in Waianae. I like to play in the water, ride on the surfboard, play with strings, climb, swing, jump and relax in my tent. My favorite food is noodles.
How did you first hear about AccesSurf? When did you start?
I first heard about AccesSurf from our friend who goes to AccesSurf. I started coming about a year and a half ago.
What does AccesSurf mean to you?
A fun place where I can have access to surfing and swimming that makes me feel safe.
What is your favorite AccesSurf memory?
My favorite part is riding on the surfboard.
Is there anything else you would like to say or share with our AccesSurf ‘Ohana?
We feel very thankful to the AccessSurf Ohana to provide opportunities for Nevaeh to be able to ride the waves. It took her a year to be comfortable riding on the surfboard and I’m glad that they let her go at her own pace. I can tell she loves accessSurf days and that she looks forward to the surfing.
