Tell us a little about yourself.

Nicolette has ten older siblings and is an auntie to 8. She was born in Germany while her dad was active duty army. We moved here from Iowa.
She loves to be active and enjoys sports with Special Olympics, dance (tap), and loves to swim and now surf with AccesSurf. She loves mermaids and thinks of herself as one. Disney’s Ariel is a favorite character. She loves to play with Barbies and especially loves Ken on the Barbie movie. She loves to sing. She has a big heart and loves everyone.

How and when did you hear about or start with AccesSurf

We first saw an ad at maybe a library or something. I was reminded of it by the military physical therapist who gave us a list of resources for accessible activities.

What does AccesSurf mean to you?

It means opportunity, welcoming, family. We have felt so welcome and grateful to be a part of this wonderful community.

What is your favorite AccesSurf memory?

Watching Nicolette feel so happy and free on the surfboard with such great people.

Anything you want to share with our AccesSurf ‘ohana?

We just can’t thank you enough for what you’re providing.
