SUMMARY:Day at the Beach
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our free monthly program for our kama’aina\, and visitors to the islands.  Our trained volunteers provide adaptive surfing\, shoreline flotation and swimming for any person with a disability on the first Saturday of each month at White Plains Beach Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ( there are a few exceptions through out the year\, please check our events calendar for any date and location changes)  \nNew participants simply need to fill out the form on the Participate link below. There is no pre-registration required prior to the beach day we assign surf times at the beach. We recommend coming early\, we often book up  for surf times. Participants who wish to have a surf time must arrive by  11:30 a.m. \nSet up starts at 7:15 am for any available volunteers.We always appreciate more help for set up! Trained volunteers will meet for orientation at 8:30 am. \nNew volunteer orientation is at 8:00am at Day at the Beach events. SUMMARY:BLUE PLANET SURF STORE EXPANSION/ACCESSURF FUNDRAISER
DESCRIPTION:This is an open invitation to all Blue Planet customers to join us for a celebration and fundraiser for Access Surf from 6 pm-8:30 pm on March 19th.  A $10 donation to Access Surf will get you two drinks\, pupus and a draw ticket\, the grand prize is a new Blue Planet SUP board.  Surfer Joe Teipel will be the MC\, we will have a blessing of the new parking lot\, warehouse\, and our re-modeled and expanded retail space.  We will present a new mural by artist Hilton Alves who will sign his artwork at the event.   Our shop staff will be on hand to show you the latest Blue Planet gear and we will have some great offers for attendees all day long.   \nParking: The event will be held in the parking lot\, so our parking lot will be closed after 4 pm\,  please find parking elsewhere and walk to the event.  If you are not able to free parking close by\, paid parking is available the the Blaisdell Center\, a short walk away.   \nWe hope you can attend\, please RSVP to raelyn@tlcpr.com
