SUMMARY:Day at the Beach
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our free monthly program for our kamaaina\, and visitors to the islands.  Our trained volunteers provide adaptive surfing\, shoreline flotation and swimming for any person with a disability on the first Saturday of each month at White Plains Beach Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nParticipants simply need to fill out the form on the Participate link below and register at the beach the day of the event. We recommend coming early \,we often book up early for surf times. Participants who wish to have a surf time must arrive by  11:30 a.m. \nSet up starts at 7:15 am for any available volunteers.We always appreciate more help for set up! Trained volunteers will meet for orientation at 8:30 am. \nNew volunteer orientation is at 8:00am at White Plains the first Saturday of the month. DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for our volunteer party! This is small way to say a BIG thank you for all that you do for us. \nWhite Plains Beach Park. We’ll be pulling out the AccesSurf gear for all you hard working volunteers to play! Bring your own as well. \nWe’ll grab some pizzas and refreshments but feel free to bring a grill and food to share potluck family style. \nBring some beach and water toys! \n  \n** we will not be surfing with participants for this event but if you want to come and join the fun you welcome to!
