DESCRIPTION:Special event at Kualoa Regional Park with City and County \nThe second weekend of August (there will be no Day at the Beach at White Plains August 1st) \nJoin us for our free monthly program for our kamaaina\, and visitors to the islands.  Our trained volunteers provide adaptive paddle boarding\, shoreline flotation and swimming for any person with a disability from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nCity and County will be providing canoe rides! \n** Please note this not a surfing event. \nParticipants simply need to fill out the form on the Participate link below and register at the beach the day of the event. We recommend coming early. Participants who wish to have a have a canoe ride must arrive by  11:30 a.m. \nSet up starts at 7:30 am for any available volunteers.We always appreciate more help for set up! DESCRIPTION:Join us for our free monthly program for our kama’aina\, and visitors to the islands.  Our trained volunteers provide adaptive surfing\, shoreline flotation and swimming for any person with a disability on the first Saturday of each month at White Plains Beach Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ( there are a few exceptions through out the year\, please check our events calendar for any date and location changes)  \nNew participants simply need to fill out the form on the Participate link below. There is no pre-registration required prior to the beach day we assign surf times at the beach. We recommend coming early\, we often book up  for surf times. Participants who wish to have a surf time must arrive by  11:30 a.m. \nSet up starts at 7:15 am for any available volunteers.We always appreciate more help for set up! Trained volunteers will meet for orientation at 8:30 am. \nNew volunteer orientation is at 8:00am at Day at the Beach events. We recommend coming early \,we often book up early for surf times. Participants who wish to have a surf time must arrive by  11:30 a.m. \nSet up starts at 7:15 am for any available volunteers.We always appreciate more help for set up! Trained volunteers will meet for orientation at 8:30 am. \nNew volunteer orientation is at 8:00am at White Plains the first Saturday of the month. DESCRIPTION:Adaptive Surf Clinic \nLearn to surf! We are very excited to launch our new adaptive surf clinics! We will hold 3 to 4 clinics throughout the year to provide one to one adaptive surf instruction. \nThis clinic is offered to anyone with a physical disability who has a desire to learn to surf independently. \nWe will work with all levels hands on in small groups to provide instruction and water safety. \nWe require pre-registration and spaces are limited. Please contact Kristen at kristen@accessurf.org to register as a participant and to volunteer. \nWe ask that all participants be prepared to be at the beach for the morning with proper sun protection\, hydration and snacks.We encourage people to bring any special gear that they may need such as padding\, lifejackets\, helmets and booties. \nAccesSurf will provide: \n\nOcean access with beach mats and chairs.\nAdaptive surf equipment: wave ski’s and prone boards.\nTrained surf instructors.\n\nSee you at the beach! \n
