DESCRIPTION:Adaptive Surf Clinic \nLearn to surf! We are very excited to launch our new adaptive surf clinics! We will hold 3 to 4 clinics throughout the year to provide one to one adaptive surf instruction. \nThis clinic is offered to anyone with a physical disability who has a desire to learn to surf independently. \nWe will work with all levels hands on in small groups to provide instruction and water safety. \nWe require pre-registration and spaces are limited. Please contact Kristen at kristen@accessurf.org to register as a participant and to volunteer. \nWe ask that all participants be prepared to be at the beach for the morning with proper sun protection\, hydration and snacks.We encourage people to bring any special gear that they may need such as padding\, lifejackets\, helmets and booties. \nAccesSurf will provide: \n\nOcean access with beach mats and chairs.\nAdaptive surf equipment: wave ski’s and prone boards.\nTrained surf instructors.\n\nSee you at the beach! \n

Drills will also concentrate on speed and strength.

DESCRIPTION:August 10\,2014 from 10:00am until 12:00pm we will host a free adaptive swim clinic at Manoa Pool. \nWhether you just want to get comfortable being in the water or you are a swimmer and would like to improve your stroke and technique this clinic is for you! \nWe have trained swim coaches and volunteers to work with you on an one to one basis. \nBeginner level- 10:00am to 10:45am \nIntermediate level- 11:ooam to 11:45pm \nSpace is limited. \nPlease register by July 28th to participate. \nWe will need volunteers to assist our trained coaches and group leaders. Please let us know if you are available to help out! \nContact us at info@accessurf.org  \nBe prepared with swim goggles\, caps and any floating device to make you comfortable in the water along with water and refreshments. \n
